Navigating The Menopause In Style
Around 8 in 10 women will experience symptoms of menopause in their lifetime. Dealing with hot flushes, and deciding whether to start HRT, are things most women expect to have to think about, but one thing that's slightly unexpected is how the menopause can force you to change your entire wardrobe.
Appearance may not sound like the biggest problem, but throw a style identity crisis into the hormonal chaos of the menopause and lots of women find themselves in despair.
This month we marked #WORLDMENOPAUSEDAY by shedding light on how to transition your style when going through 'the change'. We even made headlines with our top tips too!

Change & Check Campaign
If you've visited our changing room recently, you’ll have seen a brand new poster in support of the 'Change & Check' Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign.
Our amazing customer, Julie, recently visited our shop and spoke to Lisa about her experience with breast cancer. Julie was diagnosed with breast cancer last year, thankfully this was caught early, meaning it was curable. If Julie hadn't found the abnormality in her breast so early, her cancer may not have been treatable.
Because of this, she is helping to spread awareness for the Change & Check Campaign and suggested we display a poster which shows the signs and symptoms you should be looking for when checking your breasts.
The change and check campaign is encouraging people to take a second whilst getting changed to check their breasts. Those few moments spent checking for any lumps or changes could save your life.
If this poster encourages even just one woman to check their breasts, then we'll all be happy. We're beyond grateful to Julie for bringing this campaign to our attention and we're so proud of all that she’s doing to improve breast cancer awareness.
