The 2023 End of Year Edit

We started the year with an extra pair of wheels, as we refurbished our much-loved, although slightly panic bought, ice cream van in to a mobile store.

Designed in true The Style Attic form, we ensured it stood out from the crowd by painting her (yes her) up with a leopard print exterior and motivational quotes, because let’s face it, us women need a reminder of how wonderful we are from time to time!

The interior is compact and clean, with monochrome fixtures & fittings, making it perfect for a quick customer selfie when on board.

From festivals, to fundraisers, it’s safe to say we’ve loved showing her off this year.

We’ve lots of exciting plans for next year, but we’d love to know where you’d like to see us in 2024? Who knows, we could be heading to a city near you!

We took our wheels to the streets of Briggate Leeds, as we celebrated International Women’s Day 2023 in the heart of our beloved city.

On what may’ve been the coldest day of the year, the team networked in sunshine, snow, hail and even rain. Sharing affirmation cards, tulips, accessorise and selfies with passers-by.

Meeting our customers face to face, and introducing ourselves to new ones, made the frostbite worth it, and as an all-female business we loved marking such an important day in the diary!

This year our fabulous founder, Leigh, also celebrated her win at the Simply Ladies Awards, as she won Outstanding Entrepreneur of the Year!

It’s an incredible achievement and we love nothing more than getting together as a team and having a fizz or two to mark the occasion.

After the success of our first event, and the demand for more, this Summer we switched locations and took over the riverside venue Canary Bar, to host for the second consecutive year our annal Style Attic Summer Soiree.

The weather once again playing tricks on us, but the rain didn’t stop almost 200 of you from shopping and sipping your Saturday afternoon away - all the while raising money for Leeds Children Hospitals.

Christmas came early for us when we finally opened the doors to our brand new shop earlier in November.

As most of you know, this has been a passion project that’s taken months of hard work and long days as a family – but boy was every moment worth it. Thank you to everyone who continues to shop with us, it means the world.

Throughout the year our team has grown, with more friends and family members joining HQ, and what a lovely bunch we are too!
