The August Edit

August has been a busy month for us, for so many different reasons. From family holidays and birthdays, to exam results for some of the children in the family, and now getting ready for everything that September brings, it’s safe to say we’ve all tried to make the most of summer and of the time we get to spend with our loved ones away from the office and studio.

As our founder Leigh puts it: “I think summer is always a little reminder that six-week holidays can probably feel a couple of weeks too long, that even when we try to do it all, it’s simply not always possible, and that sometimes we need to be a little kinder to ourselves while juggling all of the plates.

It’s also a reminder that, more often than not, the best summer days are the ones where you dress for comfort and convenience, because what I’ve found is summer days are usually filled with a little bit of adventure, plenty of unexpected plans, and a few get-togethers along the way.”
