LET’S TAKE IT BACK TO THE START...
We kicked off January a little differently this year with a much-needed family holiday, and honestly it was the best decision we could’ve made. Taking that time to reset set the tone for everything that followed, which honestly, has been A LOT!
And speaking of things we called early, we said back in January that stripes were going to be everywhere this year, and we weren’t wrong! You all know we’re suckers for a stripe and this timeless pattern has been making serious waves, firmly cementing itself as a wardrobe must-have for 2025… and yes, it's absolutely sticking around for 2026 too.
THE BIGGEST WELLNESS TREND OF 2025? GO ON, WE’LL GIVE IT A GO...
It’s safe to say one of the biggest trends of the year has been reformer pilates, so as you can imagine, we were thrilled to be invited to a class at Bloc Studio Reformer Pilates in February.
Some of our team had never tried reformer (or any pilates at all), but that didn’t stop us. With Ceri as our amazing instructor, we felt completely at ease and could move at our own pace.
The studio itself was stunning, the music sets the perfect vibe, and it was brilliant to support a new Leeds-based business. Have you tried it yet?
INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY CALLS FOR TEQUILA AND TATS... RIGHT?
March was all about celebrating everything that makes being a woman so special in honour of International Women’s Month. To mark the occasion we hosted our Tequila & Tattoos International Women’s Day event, which was an unforgettable day where our amazing customers joined us for shopping, sipping, and commemorating the day with a permanent tattoo from the incredibly talented fine-line artist, Lunar Fine Line Ink, right here at our Swillington store. Now, what can we do to top this event next year?
DOPAMINE DRESSING OUR WAY IN TO SPRING...
We dove into spring with full-on dopamine dressing, bold prints, deliciously vibrant colours, and playful textures. The Noa Gilet paired with the Oli Tie Side Trouser was truly a match made in outfit heaven and became a staple throughout for so many of us.
'FASHION BOUTIQUE OF THE YEAR' (HEY, THAT'S US)
In June we were honoured to be named ‘Fashion Boutique of the Year’ at the 2025 Simply Ladies Awards! Jade and Lisa joined a room full of inspiring women for an unforgettable night at Leeds’ Hilton Hotel. The event celebrated incredible female talent across the North, and we’re so proud to be a small part of it. Thank you to everyone who took the time to vote for us, it truly meant so much to receive this recognition.
A DECADE IN BUSINESS *HAS* TO CALL FOR A PARTY...
2025 also marked 10 whole years of The Style Attic, and reaching such a milestone could only mean one thing… a big party! Customers travelled from all over the country to sunny Leeds to celebrate everything that’s made our family-run business what it is today. It was unforgettable for the entire team and we can’t wait to see what the next 10 years have in store for us all.

One of our most unexpected viral moments this year came in Autumn when your love for our biker leather jackets reached new levels of hype. Cropped or oversized, black, maroon or cream - we brought them to you, and you sold them out...
A FINAL THOUGHT FOR 2025...
The end of this year has looked a little different for our small business, but with those changes has come an overwhelming sense of community and gratitude. We’re endlessly thankful for the incredible space we’ve been able to build with you, because the heart of The Style Attic lives in every one of our customers. Our ethos has always been simple: to make women feel seen, supported, and confident at every stage of life. So as we wrap up 2025, our final message is this, be kind to yourselves, to each other, and to the journey you’re on - we are all in this together!
