The Sunday Edit: Edition 3
This week we caught up with our junior assistant, Neve, who talked us through the pieces she's loving right now: from cosy oversized knits, classic neutral tones and a touch of shimmer and sparkle, our girl knows how to style a look and make anything look fabulous. Here’s what Neve is adding to her shopping basket this payday:
"It goes without saying that this time of year is my favourite for dressing, and this month I’ve been spoilt for choice with the weekly drops having so many items to match my taste and style too.
I’m loving a number of pieces, but my top three wardrobe essentials for Autumn/Winter would have to be the McKenzie, the Draper Striped Trouser and Shimmer Bodysuit.
For me, I love to get the most wear out of my purchases, I’m not a wear it once and never be seen in it again kind of girl. So the beauty in each of these items is that they are all versatile and wearable, suitable for the moments when you need to dress up - or be a little more casual and relaxed."
THE SHIMMER BODYSUIT
"We talk about it a lot here at HQ, but wearing a touch of sparkle doesn't have to be restricted to just one month (December), in fact, I have a number of Christmas parties planned for November where I’ll be wearing the shimmer bodysuit with a nice leather skirt and trouser."
THE MCKENZIE STRIPED GRUNGE KNIT
"For something a little more casual and convenient during the cooler months, I love the mckenzie knit. Its oversized design and cosy fabric make it practical, yet the print and shape still make it fashionable - it’s the ultimate grab and go essential."
THE DRAPER STRIPED TROUSER
"The Draper Trouser is really versatile and I love to wear them for work with heels, or with a trainer when going out for brunch with friends at the weekend. If I’m ever in doubt about what to pop on that day, I always seem to lean towards these beauties."
If Neve wasn’t adorable enough, when we asked her what her style motto is she said:
"You can wear something more than once and still look and feel fabulous in it. Don’t let the pressures of social media lead you to believe otherwise!"
